central bliss
helpful staff secure luggage cozy bed
the helpful staff ensured my luggage was stored securely after i checked out. there was a convenient liquor store just below the hotel, a great convenience. i found the sports bar next door to be a perfect spot for an evening drink. the bed was very cozy.
the carpet felt somewhat rough underfoot.

Acceptable, but Room for Improvement
sticky carpet unclean bathroom
The staff actually seemed fine, I'll give them that.
The carpet in my room felt really gross I did not want to walk on it without socks. It felt almost sticky or something so I think it was never cleaned. The bathroom also felt a little unclean too so it wasn't the greatest experience.

adequate stay with issues
poor a c disruptive noise
the hotel's location provided easy access to nearby attractions.
the air conditioning unit did not function adequately. i reported this to the front desk, but the staff's response was not satisfactory. additionally, the noise levels from adjacent rooms were disruptive, affecting sleep quality.

adequate location, significant issues
dirty room smoke smell
the location was within walking distance to the event we were attending at Rogers Arena.
The room was not properly cleaned. There were used feminine hygiene products in the trash can. i told the staff at check out, but they didn't seem to care much other than saying 'oh it was an oversight'.. it made me question what else had been missed in terms of room turnover. also, a faint smell of smoke lingered throughout the hotel.

fantastic location comfortable bed good breakfast improper cleaning hygiene products uncaring staff
The location is fantastic. It is at walking distance from many attractions and restaurants! The bed was comfortable too. Breakfast at the UVA pub was quite good.
The room wasn't cleaned properly. I found used feminine hygiene products in the trash can. The staff didn't seem to care when I mentioned it, saying it was an oversight!

Awesome Downtown Hotel!
central area helpful staff quick check-in convenient location
The hotel is in a very central area. A lot of spots are within walking distance! The staff at the front desk were very helpful. Check-in and check-out were really quick and simple, which I appreciated! There is a bar, a restaurant, a cafe, and a liquor store. All are conveniently located on site.
The air conditioning made some noise! though it didn't bother me too much.

There is a pub, a coffee shop, and a bar attached to the building. I saw guests having breakfast. The food looked quite good. It seemed like a really convenient setup for anyone wanting to grab a quick bite or drink!
